This ResTES will provide a forum to discuss some ethical issues in EAP scholarship. Participants will be encouraged to consider whether EAP has a moral or ethical basis and how this might or might not relate to the purposes of our scholarship endeavours.
Some concerns regarding access to scholarship opportunities will be highlighted before exploring recurring ethical challenges in different scholarship pursuits.
Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on ethical considerations present in their own scholarship and to share constructive suggestions.
