BAS event – What we do: Learning from 3 years of the new BAS criteria

The 2025 BAS event be held in-person at the University of Reading and will provide an opportunity for both sharing of practice by BAS accredited institutions, and demystification of the BAS process for institutions who might be considering seeking BAS accreditation for the first time.

There will be a mix of presentations and lightning talks by recently accredited BAS institutions focusing both on good practice and developmental opportunities that have arisen from their experience of being evaluated by the new BAS criteria. There will also be two CPD sessions related to the BAS process, the first focusing on Context documentation – the logic behind it and how to get most benefit from its creation, and the second focusing on making explicit the implicit EAP principles guiding your course materials and practices.
