This “Pop-Up” Professional Issues Meeting aims to provide guidance on migrating language teaching to online delivery mode. The experience-sharing meeting will be hosted by faculty members from the Center for Language Education, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology based on their experiences moving their entire suite of 50+ language courses for over 4000 students for online-only delivery since January.
As a “Pop-up” PIM, there will be a series of short presentations (~ 5 minutes each), with a focus on lesson delivery at a very practical level, followed by an open discussion on how to plan and migrate to fully online delivery mode in the time of Covid-19. The format is as follows:
