TAFSIG Webinar: Online testing

The BALEAP Testing, Assessment, and Feedback SIG (TAFSIG) would like to invite you to take part in an online discussion of the challenges we are all currently facing as teaching, learning and assessment go online in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

We have seen regular comments, questions and discussion of this topic on the thread, and we have pulled out the following key themes for further exploration:

• In-house tests and assessments: any changes to format, and the software and other tools people are using to get tests online
  • impact on courses and their assessment
  • impact on students and teachers and what we can do to help each other cope with all of the changes
• Commercial online tests (i.e. Duolingo, Password)
  • our experience, questions we have

The webinar will open with colleagues from a few institutions sharing how they are adapting their course delivery and assessment, after which we will invite participants to join in discussion of the issues and exchange ideas and expertise.

The webinar will be recorded, and we will share a summary with participants after the event.
