Following the success of BALEAP’s first webinar in February, we will be organising a series of webinars throughout the year across a range of topics.
The webinars will take place on the following dates at 14.00 GMT and there will be a call for proposals to contribute short talks nearer the time.
Wednesday 10th May 2017:
BALEAP TEAP Fellowship Scheme – building a portfolio
Wednesday 12th July 2017:
Ten practical ideas for teaching pronunciation in EAP contexts
Wednesday 20th September 2017:
Lower-level EAP (two authors’ discussions, different contexts) => postponed to 2018
Wednesday 22nd November 2017:
Post-PIM (Nottingham Trent) webinar on intercultural communication
Participating in a BALEAP webinar is a great opportunity to deliver an online presentation in a supportive environment. Technical support and training will be provided both before and during the webinar. All you need in order to present is an internet connection and – ideally – a pair of headphones with a microphone attached.
A recording of BALEAP’s first webinar on ‘EAP in Context’ is available here and a transcript of the chat can be found here.
Further information on the May webinar will follow shortly.
