The Centre provides innovative summer pre-sessional courses focused on self-directed and problem-based learning. We are offering suitably qualified and experienced EAP practitioners the opportunity to teach on these pre-sessional courses. All our teachers will receive a competitive salary, including accrued annual leave, and the option of city-centre accommodation if required. All teachers must be based in the UK for the duration of both online and on-campus options*. These courses run for the following dates, including 6 weeks of regular teaching plus a one week induction, during which you will work with both colleagues and students.

Candidates for these posts are required to have a minimum of a first degree and a DELTA (or equivalent), and a Masters in a relevant subject, as well as previous experience of teaching on pre-sessional courses. In return for your effort and commitment on what is a very intensive course, we hope to provide a supportive and collaborative environment in which you will continue to develop as an EAP practitioner.

The Centre is run on the principles of collaboration, development, transparency, transferability, autonomy and reflexivity at all levels within our community. For those who are interested in the BALEAP fellowship scheme, we have TEAP assessors in-house to carry out observations for your TEAP portfolio.
