The International English Centre (IEC) at Aberystwyth University is seeking DELTA-qualified teaching professionals to join the summer team on our 12 and 6-week Summer Pre-sessional Courses.
All teaching materials are provided, and support is available from the Pre-sessional Co-ordinator and other full-time members of staff. Previous Pre-sessional/EAP experience is desirable, but we also welcome applications from DELTA-qualified teachers who are at the beginning their EAP career.
The IEC is a small, friendly centre in a beautiful location, and can provide subsidised accommodation for summer teachers.
Pre-sessional Course dates are as follows:
12-week Pre-sessional: 25 June – 14 September 2018 (Paid induction on Friday, 22 June)
6-week Pre-sessional:6 August – 14 September 2018 (Paid induction, Friday, 3 August)
Applicants must be available for the full period of the course. We cannot accommodate holiday requests during the course.
The post is paid at £30,688 p.a. pro rata (Grade 6, Spinal Point 28)
Subsided accommodation in University Halls of Residence can be provided at a rate of £50 per week.
