An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Skills Centre at the University of Bath for an experienced EAP Course Leader to lead and develop the summer Pre-sessional programme.
The Pre-sessional Programme prepares students for success in their degree studies through the development of academic language, and research and study skills.
You will be responsible for leading, developing and managing the pre-sessional courses, ensuring high quality teaching, successful learning outcomes, and an outstanding student experience. This role provides an exciting opportunity to use both professional expertise and creativity to develop innovative courses that support student success.
You will:
* be an outstanding Pre-sessional teacher with a proven record of excellence in leading and developing high-quality EAP programmes in Higher Education.
* demonstrate highly effective management, communication, planning and team leadership skills.
* enjoy leading teams as well as working collaboratively as part of a team.
* be creative and pro-active with an ability to think and plan strategically as well as managing operationally.
You should hold a Master’s degree (or higher) in Applied Linguistics/TESOL related field and/or a DELTA and have extensive experience of EAP programme leadership.

Starting from £37,999 rising to £45,163 pro rata
This is a full-time role, for a fixed-term period from 16 June 2025 until 12 September 2025.
The role is based on campus at the University of Bath, and all work must be carried out within the UK, including any remote work.
