Norwegian Forum for English for Academic Purposes 11th Annual Summer Conference, Oslo, 8-9th June 2017
The theme of this year’s Norwegian Forum for English for Academic Purposes 2017 Summer Conference, to be held on 8-9th June at the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, is EAP and Positioning. The plenary speakers are Ursula Wingate and Lesley Gourlay.
Ursula Wingate is Senior Lecturer in Language in Education, Centre for Language, Discourse and Communication, King’s College, London. Her paper is entitled ‘Positioning EAP in the 21st Century University: The Need for a Collaborative Model’.
Lesley Gourlay is Reader in Education & Technology, Institute of Education, University College, London. Her paper is entitled ‘De-positioning EAP: Texts, the Digital and Sociomaterial Practice’.
