Teaching
• Deliver engaging and student-centred lessons with the aim of achieving course objectives and to the standards outlined in the teaching induction.
• Use in-house materials effectively and adapt to suit students’ needs and abilities.
• Manage classes of 10-12 students effectively to allow each student to experience academically fulfilling environment.
• Encourage autonomous learning and prepare students for university study.
• Deliver individual or small group tutorials to ensure students are informed of their progress or the lack of thereof.
• Use Zoom to deliver live classes, utilising features such as screen-sharing and breakout rooms to maximise interaction
• Use Moodle to access course materials and track students’ progress and engagement
Academic Administration
• Keep up-to-date attendance records.
• Comment on students’ progress and achievements in tutorials or in writing
• Mark assignments and provide feedback.
• Ensure all relevant class material is accessible to students in timely fashion.
• Be available for some asynchronous student support via email / MS Teams.
