This post will involve delivering online EAP/ESP modules to first and second year Biomedical Engineering students based in China. The post is 0.5 FTE with an expected time commitment of 20 hours a week for the duration of the contract. Teaching time will average 10 hours a week with all materials and assessments provided. Classes will have a maximum of 12 students.
As there is a possibility of under 18s in the cohort, the successful applicant will require a Disclosure Scotland check and referees will be asked about the candidate’s suitability to work with under 18s.
There will be two mornings of induction before teaching starts.
Salary will be at Grade 7 (£32, 817 – £40, 322) pro rata. Holiday entitlement will be included in the contract.
