The role
English Language Teaching (ELT) at University of St Andrews is seeking an EAP Tutor to teach on its 10 week Pre-sessional Course this summer. This is a temporary role, starting on Tuesday 26th June and running until Friday 7th September. There may be some flexibility with the dates – if you are unable to commit to the full period then please state your exact availability in your application.
During the period of employment, the successful candidate will be expected to deliver up to 20 contact hours per week, and to attend teaching-related meetings as required. A full job description is attached.

Position requirements
We are seeking applicants with the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
Essential
• Educated to degree level
• In possession of a relevant teaching qualification
• Three years of relevant teaching experience
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team
Desirable
• Master’s degree in a relevant area
Significant university-level teaching experience
The successful candidate will be paid £36, 613 pro rata. Competitively priced university accommodation is available to rent if required.
