We have multiple vacancies for EAP Tutors at The University of Manchester. You will teach up to 21 contact hours at a range of levels on our summer pre-sessional courses. We have in-house teaching materials which you will use in an engaging and communicative manner. You will provide academic tutorials, giving the students feedback on their work and offering them advice on aspects such as language and study skills. As part of your role you will also attend staff meetings and perform administrative duties including preparing lessons, marking and writing reports.
You will be an enthusiastic and experienced teacher who is up-to-date with the latest developments in EAP. In addition to an undergraduate degree you will have a recognised ELT qualification (see further particulars). During your teaching you will be observed and given developmental feedback which you will be able to use as part of your TEAP portfolio.

10 week course: 28 June – 07 September 2018 £7478.52 (gross)
6 week course: 25 July – 07 September 2018 £4641.84 (gross)
These dates are inclusive of induction and the salary includes accrued holiday entitlement which you will take at the end of the course.
